First thought on my first ever blog.

I suppose like with anything, starting is actually the hardest part. I spent an all 10hr and 30mins working on the design of this blog. Why so long? Jason (my boyfriend whom I have been with for the last 4 happy years of my life) said he would have probably not changed anything to the initial template and would have started writing straight away. What he did not know was that before actually starting the design of the blog I was pondering over starting a blog for about 6 months. So aside from learning that I massively enjoy playing around and editing the design of websites to fit my personality, I also learnt that I like to take my time when picking the right shades of pastel colour.
To be completely honest, probably the underlying reason why it has taken me so long to start working and writing this is because I was almost dreading writing anything at all. I had no clue what to write, if anyone would read it, if anyone would like it, or if anyone would even open the link to my blog in the first place. It is quite easy to fall into a spiral of worry, especially over what people think about what you post on social media, and your social media presence. But hey! Then I actually traced back my steps to the main reason as to why I have been wanting to create this blog in the first place. That is because I want to share my thoughts and feelings with whomever wants to know them. At he end of the day, this means that as long as I enjoy what I am writing, and those closest to me do, I won the blog game lol (yes, I lol).
In the end, what can be taken from this is that when you want to start something, just do it. Yeah... you might take 10hrs and 30mins playing about with the fonts and the animation of your title only to realise less is more so then you drop the animation in your title and move on to find the right pictures for your interest section. Or you might take 6 months to actually give your idea a go in the first place because you are unsure of what to write about, or how it will be received by everyone else, however, Rome was not built in a day (not that I am comparing my blog to Rome). I am also pretty sure that the Romans did not really care much about what the other people of the World thought of them because they knew their Empire would be magnificent either way. Just do it.
